Soft water. Less chlorine. One system.
For homes on chlorinated city water, the Hydronex handles hardness and chlorine taste and odor at the point of entry, so every faucet and shower benefits.
How it works
Softening and chlorine reduction in one tank.
Hard-water minerals are exchanged on S-759 monospheric softening resin over a silica gravel base. ChloroShield™ Clearess® with Chlorostatic® media reduces the taste and odor of chlorine and chloramine, and Puronics rates it for 2,000,000 gallons at 1 ppm (normal city levels run about 0.5 to 1 ppm). The media needs no filter changes.
The iGen valve tracks your usage and regenerates with salt or potassium using downflow brining and a double backwash.
