How it works
Most water treatment companies quote first and test later, or quote a range that fits everyone. We do it the other way around.
Four steps
- Analysis. Start with your free ZIP-code water report and a 60-second quiz, or book a free in-home test. On a private well, we always start with a test.
- Recommendation. We match a system to what's actually in your water: hardness, disinfectant, iron, PFAS, and how your household uses water.
- Price. You see the price for the recommended system only after the analysis, so it's a price for what your home needs.
- Install. Buy on your own or talk it through with us first. We install it and set up the maintenance plan.
Why analysis comes first
Water varies town to town and even street to street. Utilities use different sources and disinfectants, and private wells can differ from the house next door. A softener that's sized without your hardness, or a filter chosen without knowing whether your utility uses chlorine or chloramine, is a guess. Our report uses your utility's EPA records, and our in-home test measures your tap.
What we look at
- Your utility's EPA violations, lead sampling, and PFAS results
- Hardness, iron, pH, and disinfectant
- Household size, bathrooms, and plumbing
- What bothers you: taste, smell, stains, scale, or health concerns
